一、热身(Warm-up)
1.Let’s chant: Spring is green with flowers and songs. 2.单词拼读赛。
教师借助卡片,把学生分成四组,让学生抢答,拼读单词或说出词组,得分最多的一组获胜。
如:spring, summer, fall, winter, season, best, go swimming, make a snowman, plant trees, go on a picnic等。
3.口语交流。 What day is it today? What’s the weather like today? Which season do you like best? Why do you like...? 二、新课呈现(Presentation) 1. Read and write
(1) 教师借助课件,分别出示课文中的四幅画,要求学生一边阅读文本,一边将下列句子补充完整。
①The trees are and the flowers are________. ②I like because there are flowers everywhere. ③It’s ____in summer.
④The leaves fall and it’s now. ⑤The snow is . ⑥I like because I can play in the . 当学生完成后,教师提问学生:fall是什么意思?当它表示季节时,可替换哪个单词?并请学生说一说The leaves fall and fall and fall. I love fall! 的中文意思。最后请学生用不同的表达形式来说一说意思相同的2个句子。如:I love fall. I love autumn. There are leaves in fall. There are leaves in autumn.等。
(2) 教师播放录音,学生边听边理解课文,听音完毕思考What lovely colours!的中文意思,教师解释并要求学生举一反三。如:What
beautiful flowers! What lovely girls! What nice trees! 等。 (3) 再次播放录音,学生模仿I like…because there are beautiful…everywhere.和It’s…everywhere.等句子。
如:I like spring because there are beautiful flowers everywhere. I like winter because there is lots of snow. It’s white everywhere. (4) 教师讲解文中的部分句子的中文意思。
I like summer, but I can’t swim. 我喜欢夏天,但我不会游泳。 I want to paint a picture, too! 我也要去画一幅画。 (5) 学生跟读课文,要求学生有表情地朗读下列句子: What lovely colours! Wow! I want to paint a picture, too! (6) 活动:情境表达
教师陈述一个事实,请学生说出可能的理由,进一步巩固because句型。
如:教师说:I like Kunming.学生说:I like Kunming because it’s beautiful and the weather is good.
又如:教师说:I like Jiuzhaigou.学生说:I like Jiuzhaigou because the water is clean and the leaves are beautiful. 2.Let’s check
听音,在横线上写出你听到的句子。 3.教学Story time
(1) 教师播放Story time的录像,请学生四人一组讨论:Why can Koala swim on Christmas Day? Where is Koala from?
(2) 汇报讨论结果,并解释以下句子。
Koala is from Australia. Christmas is in summer in Australia. So Koala can swim on Christmas Day.
(3) 学生再次阅读故事,思考:What does Koala usually do on Christmas Day?然后完成如下选择题。
What does Koala usually do on Christmas Day? A. Go to the beach and play in the snow. B. Go to the playground and clean the floor. C. Go to the beach and swim in the sea. (4) 讲解短语sunny days的中文意思。
(5) 教师播放Story time的录音,学生跟读三遍。 三、巩固与拓展(Consolidation and extension) 1.活动:结伴去旅行
活动方式:以小组为单位,假设我们有机会外出旅游,讨论一下我们什么时候去是最好的时机,把讨论的结果填入表格,然后派一名代表汇报结果。 Place Beijing Harbin Sanya Season Activities 2.活动:接受采访

太阳每年在南北回归线间来回的运动。当太阳运动到南回归线时,南半球到夏至日,相对于北半球来说,太阳这时离北半球是最远的时候,到达冬至日,时间是12月22日。当太阳运动到北回归线时,南半球到冬至日,相对于北半球来说,太阳这时离北半球是最近的时候,到达夏至日,时间是6月22日。所以说南北半球季节是相反的。北京位于北半球,四季气候分明,冬季寒冷干燥,夏季高温多雨;悉尼位于南半球,全年温和湿润,风和日丽;莫斯科冬季漫长,严寒多雾,夏季短暂;伦敦全年温和湿润,属于海洋性气候。
教后反思
本课时我充分考虑到小学生的学情特点及实际需求,设计了大量真实自然的情境,渐进式地引导学生做有梯度性的语言训练,激发学生自主学习。在整堂课中,我都采用活动途径,倡导体验参与,使学生获得满足感,最大限度地激发学生的学习动机。
