ON) are at least inpart representative for said speech signal (S) with respect to a respective frequency sub-band (F1, ..., FN), deriving band-dependent likelihoods (b1, ..., bN) for occurrences ofspeech elements (P1, ..., Pm) or of sequences thereof within said speech signal (S) basedon said band-dependent acoustic feature data (O1, ..., ON) and/or a derivative thereof,analyzing said speech signal (S) within said entire spectrum (F), thereby generating full-band acoustic feature data (FBE-F; FFBE; FBE-F-SSUB; OF.SSUB), which are at least in partrepresentative for said speech signal (S) with respect to said entire spectrum (F), derivinga full-band likelihood (BFF; BSSUB) for occurrences of speech elements (P1, ..., Pm) or ofsequences thereof within said speech signal (S) based on said full-band acoustic featuredata (FBE-F; FFBE; FBE-F-SSUB; OF,SSUB) and/or a derivative thereof, deriving an overalllikelihood (B) for occurrences of speech elements (P1, ..., Pm) or of sequences thereofwithin said speech signal (S) based on said band-dependent likelihoods (b1, ..., bN) andsaid full-band likelihood (BFF; BSSUB).
