摘要：An electronic package is disclosed including a socket assembly (40) forconnecting an electronic component (10) to a circuit board (12). A header (20) is securedto the circuit board (12), and receives the socket assembly (40) which is connected to theheader (20) along a direction parallel to the plane of the circuit board (12). The socketassembly (40) includes a housing (42) and tray (44). The tray (44) which accommodatesthe electronic component ,(10), is slidably inserted into the housing (42).
