A trip to London

Hello，everyone. My topic today is ‘A trip to London’.

When I was young, I was crazy about foreign culture. I have a dream that one day I can travel around the world. This summer vacation, I went on a trip to London, which is the capital city of the UK as well as the largest European city.

London is such a wonderful city. The River Thames runs through the city from west to east. It divides the city into two parts. I took a trip on the river. This way, I was able to see almost every landmark of London.

London is full of places of interest. My first destination was the London Eye. The London Eye is on the south bank of the River Thames. It is 135 meters high.The big wheel goes around very slowly.It gives visitors a good view of London.I was so excited to see the whole city from the wheel.

My next destination was Tower Bridge. You can feel its beauty by walking on the bridge step by step，and you don’t have to pay money for it. Everything is free！When I got there, it was evening. The bridge looked so colorful and wonderful. I was greatly attracted by the shining lights.What a splendid view!

During the next few days, I visited other places such as Hyde Park, Big Ben. I also did some shopping. Going to the Brick Lane is a good choice.Brick Lane is a street in East London.Today，it is one of the open-air streets for shopping.You can

buy lots of things there，such as Western food，souvenirs，clothes and so on. Afternoon tea is very famous in London, too.With delicious food ,like cakes and milk tea,I felt so relaxed and enjoyed myself so much Besides, the food also showed the culture of Britain.
