一、整体设计思路、指导依据说明

本课基于新课程理念下的高效初中英语课堂要求,整合英语学科核心素养的四个维度,有机结合义务教育英语课程标准的分级目标中初二学生该达到的四级目标,创新设计,以达到优化英语课堂的目的。四级目标如下:

1. 对英语学习表现出积极性和初步的自信心。

2. 能听懂熟悉话题的语段和简短的故事。能与教师或同学就熟悉的话题(如:学校,家庭生活)交换信息。能读懂小故事及其他文体的简单书面材料。能用短语或句子描述小故事及其他文体的简单书面材料。能用短语或句子描述系列图片,编写简单的故事。能根据提示简要描述一件事情,参与简单的角色表演活动。

3. 能尝试使用适当的学习方法,克服学习中遇到的困难。 4. 能意识到语言交际中存在的文化差异。

笔者根据以上的目标要求,整合教材内容,创设情景任务,循序渐进地实现教学目标。

二、教学背景分析

<教学内容分析>

本节课是第一单元第三话题的第一课时,主要活动为1a和2b。

Section A 对话里,Yu Ting和Li Ming兴奋地谈论即将到来的运动会,呈现了本课所要学的语法重点Future Tense with will。Yu Ting 和Li Ming 饶有兴趣地围绕Which sport will you take part in? 谈论着各自参加的运动会项目,呈现了重点短语:the boys’800-meter race, be in the long jump等。本对话呈现了孩子们积极上进的学习生活,要求学生在学会课本语言知识的同时,向Yu Ting 和Li Ming学习,积极参与学校各项集体活动,在培养集体主义思想的同时,培养自己自信、上进的个人素质。

<本课时在本单元的教学定位>

本课作为整个单元的第一课时,为后面的语言知识,语言技巧训练及文化情感的渗透打下基础。

<学生情况分析>

一般特征和初始能力:笔者所在学校,绝大部分都是从乡村小学毕业的学生,学生比较熟悉教材结构,但是整体英语基础比较差。经过初一一年的英语学习习惯的培养,能在教师的指导下提前预习新课知识,并找出一些重点词汇和短语。大部分学生能跟上老师的节奏,听懂老师的课堂指令,但是仍然有一部分学困生对学习感到吃力,对课堂教学感到枯燥乏味。教师在授课时会根据学生的实际情况,结合本堂课的知识特点,运用简笔画、Flash、课堂游戏活动等多种教学手段来调动学生的兴趣和学习积极性。

词汇方面:课前的一节课会教新单词,提前听读测试确定学生已掌握本堂课的新单词。 学习策略方面:提前告知学生本课程的重点难点,在本书的“课文注释”部分以及学案中可以找到可供事先预习的材料。

背景知识方面:学生提前搜集搜集有关运动会的项目名称,同学之间相互询问最感兴趣的体育项目。

三、教学目标分析

本课整合英语学科核心素养的四个维度,围绕学生语言能力,兼顾思维品质、文化品格、学习能力的共同发展。 <语言能力目标>

本课在紧紧围绕文本的基础上,引导学生结合自身实际情况,对自己感兴趣或是擅长的运动项目进行表达。并且能熟练地运用will引导的将来时谈论有关运动会的话题。 <学习能力目标>

1. 能借助图文听懂有关运动会项目的名称,理解相关话题。

2. 能在适当语境中正确理解并运用will将来时,能运用will进行造句。 3. 能通过循序渐进的练习提高听力技巧,听懂介绍运动会项目的对话或文章。

4. 能通过情景设置下的对话操练获取表达技巧,能用will将来时介绍自己或朋友在运动会中参加的项目。 <思维品质目标>

本课重视对学生多元思维品格的培养,在学习过程中培养学生的理解力、概括力,引导

学生理性并创造性地表达自己观点,努力拓展学生思维的广度和深度。在采访环节中鼓励学生通过多角度的思考进行交际实践。让学生具备初步用英语进行独立思考、创新思维的能力。同时鼓励学生发扬乐于助人的精神,积极动脑给别人提建议,培养他们解决问题的能力。黑板板书的创意呈现对学生形成强烈的视觉和思维的冲击。 <文化品格目标>

整堂课以参加运动会为主线,通过学习Yu Ting 和Li Ming积极上进的对话内容,教育学生热爱体育运动,积极锻炼身体,并要持之以恒。鼓励学生要积极参与学校集体活动,培养学生乐观、自信、乐于合作的优良品质。教育学生热爱体育运动,积极锻炼身体,并要持之以恒。培养学生乐观、自信、乐于合作的优良品质。

四、教学重点、难点分析

<教学重点>

1. the boys’800-meter race,be in the long jump,have lots of fun, prepare for, make many friends, make friends with sb.等短语的理解及运用。 2.体会be going to及will表示一般将来时的用法,并能够掌握。 <教学难点>

理解并掌握一般将来时的句型:be going to do sth./will do sth.能够正确运用相关句型描述将来要做的事情。

五、教学过程设计

Teaching procedures Preview details:

Ask the students to preview the text on Page 17 and 18,underline the key phrases and finish previewing exercises.

During the break time before class:

Play a short video of“Sports Day”(Peppa Pig), give student an impression of new lesson. 1. Warming up. (3min) 1)

After greeting, get students ready for learning, explain the competition rules in the class.

Teacher draws 4 lines like runways on the blackboard stand for four groups, the first to get to the finishing line would be the winner.

2) Play a “mirror game” to present some sports events with the key sentence pattern.

T: I’m Miss Yan, and you’re Miss Yan in the mirror, I do, you do. Eg:I will join in the long jump(say with action)

(Design purpose设计意图: We do it on the purpose of warming up, letting the students get move and be active:以 “镜子游戏”作为热身活动,比较能引起学生的兴趣,使课堂活跃起来,同时达到让同学快速了解与运动有关的新单词和本课重点句型的目的) 2. Pre-listening.(10min)

1)Show a flash with the background song of “Athlete March”(运动员进行曲), the teacher says something about the school sports meet. And ask the students to say out the events in the sports meet according to what they saw in the flash.

(Design purpose设计意图: letting the students get a quick reaction of key phrases:以观看视频为导入,让同学快速复习以前所学与运动有关的单词或短语,比较能引起学生的兴趣,更易自然过渡到新课知识)

The teacher uses stick figure to help the student remind more phrases about sports.(手绘图) 2)Learn some new words from the pictures in PPT.

3)Read all the events together and pay attention to the compound adjectives, such as 100-meter and 800-meter.

4)Show a picture of our school sports meet, ask and answer(guessing game). T: The school sports meet is coming, will you take part in it? S1: Yes, I will. S2: No,I won’t. S3:Yes, I will.

T: Which sport will you take part in ? (lead the students to answer the question if necessary) S4:I will take part in the … S5:I will be in the … S6: I will join in the …

(Design purpose设计意图:The stick figure and picture show will extend some talent vocabulary to memorize, meanwhile, students learn the new words and review the word they have learned 简笔

1)Listen to the dialogue and answer the question.

Teacher introduces the dialogue by showing a picture and saying “Yu Ting and Li Ming are talking about the school sports meet on the playground.” T: Let’s listen and answer the questions. Q1:Which sport will Li Ming take part in? Q2:Which sport will Yu Ting take part in?

2)Listen again, fill in the blanks and check the answers.

3)Work in groups, Find out and Learn the key points in 1a together. Will you take part in the school sports meet?

由“ ____ +动词原形”构成的一般将来时,表示未来的事实或对将来的预测。 I will take part in the boys’ 800-metre race.

take part in + 活动,表示“参加某种活动” = join in be in : 参加某种活动,强调状态。 I’m sure the sports meet will be exciting. The sports meet is coming , so we are all excited. 4)Repeat the dialog.

Read 1a together and the try to repeat the dialogue with the help of incomplete text. Finish 1b. (Design purpose设计意图:This activity is designed to let the students grab the whole dialogue and learn how to express t and practise oral English创设环境让同学用关键词句来复述课文) 4.Post-listening (10min)

1) Work alone. Finish 2a. Read the school interviews and match them with the pictures. Check the answers and find out some phrases in them.

2) Work in pairs. Make up conversations according to 2a.The following expressions may help you.(插入幻灯片)

3)Finish 3. Listen to the conversation and choose the correct answers. Listen again and complete the passage.

5.Summarize (2 min)

the new word, key phrases, sentences and verb forms rules of simple past tense.

Summarize the competition and presents the award to the winner, emphasizes the importance of teamwork.

6. Cultural extension (3 min): introduce the popular daily sports in Western countries such as hiking, boating, hunting, fishing etc.

(Design purpose设计意图:Learning Amateur sports activities in western countries.These sports activities are connected to the text to let the students know more about the Western Culture 了解西方国家最受欢迎的业余体育活动,对课文进行文化拓展,达到情感目的)

Golden words: (Play a song “the cup of life” and emphasize the importance of doing exercises.) Sport is the source of all life.Sport is everywhere in our life.——运动是生命的源泉,运动无处不在。

7. Assigning Homework (1 min): write a report about the coming school sports meet.

(Design purpose设计意图: Consolidate the usage of some phrases and simple future tense,learning to express the simple future tense with proper sentence patterns巩固学生对本课短语和一般将来时态的用法,以及鼓励学生用正确句型表述一般将来时态)

六、教学评价设计

教学评价是设定教学目标或检测教学目标达成情况的手段,应有的放矢。同时,评价是为了培养学生的自信心,提高自我反思和自我促进的能力。应实现评价主体的多元化和形式的多样化。这节课中,笔者采用多种评价标准,结合诊断性评价,过程性评价与终结性评价,并将其贯穿整个教学过程始终。 1. 诊断性评价

在教学活动开始前,为了鉴定教学主体的学习准备程度,采用视频导入及简笔画教学的方式,从语言知识与技能,学习策略和情感,文化意识几方面确定学生的最近发展区,以便使教学计划有的放矢。 2. 形成性评价

形成性评价首要目的是促进学生学习,其核心是通过不同形式的反馈给学生提供具体的帮助和指导。本课程中具体表现为为学生创设语言情境,改编对话还有复述课文 。

4. 终结性评价:是在一个学习阶段结束时对学生学习结果的评价,本课文采取以布置运动会报道为契机切入,检测本课的掌握程度
